this is related to one of my earliest posts here and would serve as an update to what has transpired.
since i’ve tried out tumblr & pownce, i had assumed that they were actually on the same level of competition, and so i experienced that i was mistaken. it was more of a pownce versus twitter battle. with the demise of pownce (having been absorbed by six-apart & re-packaged as ‘Motion’) it seemed that the veteran service twitter was a more stable choice. the word was that pownce was too complex and that twitter’s simplicity got the better of its no-longer-upcoming rival.
for now i’ve stuck to these three:
tumblr as my not-so-micro blog,
plurk which imho is much better than pownce. &
twitter which is where all my feeds converge.
