After a few weeks of having contemplated on deactivating my Friendster account in favor of Multiply & Facebook, I have decided to stay my decision & passively maintain my profile since it already has been this way for the past few years. IMHO Friendster’s appeal has since been eclipsed by FB’s aesthetic & ‘viral’ nature. Athough friendster had its own feeds, for me it was plagued with lackluster 3rd party applications & not-so-creative simplicity - I guess now they’re trying to learn a few tricks from FB. Multiply’s value on the other hand is that it empowers you to define relationships & appropriately push content to a custom group or select persons only - in contrast to FB where everybody’s your ‘friend’ (or I have not yet stumbled on an API that enables this multiply-like feature), but then what compensates for this beautifully is the fact that you can customize friend-groups via FB’s friend lists.

So if you’re a friend & you’re on FB, you’re welcome to add me there. If you’re a professional contact, let’s connect on LinkedIn.
